Botantically Inspired Little Books Workshop

Participants will be guided through the creation of two different, simple, non-adhesive bindings - takes on Hedi Kyle’s Crown binding and Ben Elbel’s Shrigley binding. Both bindings offer ways to present botanical (or any other) images/ cards and can be scaled up to multi page books. About the artist: Terrie Reddish is an artist, printer and bookbinder. Using restored tools and vintage equipment she creates unique artists books, broadsheets and prints. Her artwork is often three dimensional and loosely based on book structures. Materials for the class will be provided.
